Vertical Access, Inc. was founded by Michael Martinez with one goal in mind: to be the best commercial scaffold and shoring company in the industry. We use a uniquely designed scaffold that has become known in the industry as one of the safest available.

Safety

Vertical Access Scaffold

In addition to training, we have designed a unique scaffold system that is second to none in regard to safety. Vertical Access, Inc. uses a newly designed custom “Hockey Stick” style scaffold frame. Vertical Access, Inc. redesigned a frame to increase the inner space for a worker to pass through the frame. This has created an interior walk width of over 25 inches wide, compared to a typical 19-inch inner clearance.

25 Inches of Inner Clearance

We are the only company on the West Coast with more than 25 inches of inner clearance. Our competitors use the old A-Frame style frame with a shoulder clearance of 18 inches or an old “Hockey Stick” style frame with a shoulder clearance of less than 18 inches. Having a 25-inch wide clearance enables the workers to pass through the frames quickly and easily, without having to turn their bodies.

The dramatic difference in clearance has increased production immensely.

In addition to our unique scaffold design, training is the cornerstone of our goals here at Vertical Access, Inc. All the highly skilled erectors go through the intensive competent training program at our on-site training facility. Vertical Access, Inc. knows that instilling the value of safety first is critical to ensuring the safe erection and dismantling of our projects on time.

Vertical Access, Inc. is a member of SAIA and understands the principles set forth by them way back in 1972. As a pioneer in the scaffolding business, Vertical Access, Inc. understands the importance of this partnership as it relates to safety.

Training

Vertical Access, Inc. offers complete training for our customers and covers Competent Persons for Daily Inspections (8 Hours) and/or User & Hazard Awareness (4 Hours).
